Since 1979, I have searched for the parents of my great-grandmother Lou
Ray. She died when my grandfather was quite yound and I am at a dead end.
Even if we do not match, please take time for a quick reply as I will
continue to search by elimination.

Information that I have

Miss S. L. Ray married L. J. Price in Pickens Co., Al according to Court
Records...this is all

She was born in Oct 1857 in Ga and died in Ms in Feb 1901.

She had a brother named Albert

Do you have any Lou, Lieusia(according to the 1880 census) or a girl in
your line that was born in the 1850's with a name that begins with a S or
an A?

If you cannot match with me please let me hear from you to determine the
Rays you are researching from 1820-1880 and location. This will help
eliminate hours of searching. I am very open to any suggestions to find
records. If I knew an approximate location to search it would be much
easier. You never realize how many have daughters that age until you start
digging....Thanks for taking time to read this and please reply..
