Perhaps someone could guide me to a source to verify the following info:

"Benj. Ray was ordered to be bound out by the Church Warden of Meherrin
Parish. Benjamin was bound out 6/28/1773 as a bastard son of Edy Ray
(Wray?).

Does anyone know of any books with records of this type that may contain
the name of the person that Benjamin was bound to? Aternatively, does
anyone know of a person that will do look-ups in Brunswick Co. for a
reasonable fee?

Any help would be appreciated.
