I just know that someone out there can help solve this mystery. Am seeking
information on:
William B. Wray - b. 1805 in North Carolina
married Nov. 20, 1828 to Catherine Keepers
Catherine Keepers - b. abt 1809 in North Carolina - d. Mar. 4, 1855
Independence Co., Arkansas.
In 1840 family is in Stoddard Co., Missouri census
In 1850 family is in Independence Co., Arkansas census
William served as sheriff of Stoddard Co., Missouri 1835-1837
Children are;
Polly Ann Wray - b. 1829
Elizabeth Jane Wray - b. 1830
Calvin Columbus Wray - b. 1832
Matilda Catherine Wray - b. 1834
William Wasington Wray - b. 1836
Easter Melvina Wray - b. 1838
John Meracus Wray - b. 1840
Eliza Eleanor Wray - b. 1842
Sarah Rebecca Wray - b. 1844
Maria Marceleet Wray - b. 1846
Martha Missouria Wray - b. 1849
Moherin E. Wray - ??? -

I have their actual family Bible. so that is where I got this information.
But am stuck on locating their parents, etc. Have found the following
information but do not know if it really links or not.

William Keepers married a Caty Seeford - Lincoln Co., North Carolina - Nov.
26, 1800

A William Wray received a military bounty land grant in Missouri for service
in War of 1812.

1833 - A Samuel Rea leaves a will in Chowan Co., North Carolina - mentions
Christopher, Artemes, William, & Wiley Rea and Lavina Jackson.

1846 - Apr. 19 - Martha Rea, Widow of Samuel left a will in Choway Co., North
Carolina - probated May term 1851 - mentions son Christopher C. Rea's
children, daughter Lavina Jackson, Artemus Mansfield, grandaughter Martha E.
Mansfield, grandaughter ELIZABETH JANE REA (DAUGHTER OF WILLIAM), and sons
William & Wiley.

1790 - Census - Samuel Rea - Chowan Co.

1800 - Census - Samuel Rea - Chowan Co.

1814 - A Thomas Meirs leavs a will in Perquimans Co., NC - mentions children
of Elizabeth Mixon and Martha Rea and Samson Wilder - witnessed by Job
Pettyjohn & Samuel Rea

1788 - Thomas Miers married Margarett Wildare - Chowan Co., NC
