Thomas Henry Rhea (1853-1938), known by many as "Pap" is buried in Rehoboth
Cemetery on Pig Run in Bath County. He served as constable for the fourth
Magisterial District in 1885 and again in 1887. He was also the tax collector
for the Millboro District in 1886. He was first married to Elizabeth Vest
(1860-1905).
Their nine children were: John Wilson Rhea (1878-1909), married to Bessie
Graves. They had one son, Bernard Rhea , who died at age 16 because of TB.
Nellie Rhea (October 16, 1881-1940), married to Martin W. Hysong (undertaker).
They had two sons: Thomas, married to Mary parke Colston (two children) and
Jerry, who never married. Garnett Sutton Rhea (1884-1956), married to Wessie
(no children).
Mollie Mae Rhea (December 23, 1887-1965). First husband George Perkins. They
had one duaghter, Mabel Ester Perkins 1904-1978). Second husband was Edgar
Lyon from Baltimore, Md. Harry Tucker Rhea (October `18, 1888-1946), married
to Mabel (?). No children. James Talley Rhea (December 18, 1892-December 31,
1970), married to Catheren Ann Matheney (may 7, 1903). SeeJames Talley Rhea

Mattie Myrtle Rhea (November 7, 1895-1973), married to William E. Coleman. No
children. henry McKinley Rhea (1900-1929?), married to Kathleen Agusta
Funkhouser. See Henry McKinley Rhea family. Alice Beatty Rhea (May 7, 1903-?),
married to George Russell. No children. Thomas Henry Rhea married the second
time to Mamie Gear (1893-1919). The six children by this marriage are Echols,
Palmer, Clarence, helen, Russell, and a baby and the mother died in childbirth
in 1919.
