Pat, Can understand what you want and why, but I can't pinpoint a death date
or obit for James RHEA. I know you have thought that the Sangamon CO IL
JAMES RHEA was kin, but do you have the biography on JAMES RHEA b 1780 in
Greenbriar CO VA;m in Barren CO KY to RACHEL JOLIFF, arriving in Sangamon CO
in 1827 in what is now Island Grove township? It lists eleven children and
this James d 12 Feb 1843 in Sangamon. I, also, have the cemetery records
for many of the RHEA family in Island Grove Twp., Berlin(aka Old Berlin)
Cemetery.

If you do not have any of this info and would like it, I could type it up
for you.

Are you sure YOUR JAMES RHEA was the charter member of the Berlin Baptist
Church? Could it have been the above referred to James as he was in the
area as early as 1827 per the biography?

I have very few Morgan CO IL Cemetery readings, and have no obits or index
for Morgan. I have many Sangamon Co. cemetery books, as well as obit index.

I have an index to Morgan CO IL Public Domain Land Tract Sales that lists:

T13-R8 = Waverly Twp; T15-R9 = Orleans-Pisgah Twp.

In an old Quarterly from JAGHS I find a REGISTER OF MINORS, From GUARDIANS
BOND RECORDS 1864-1872 Morgan CO IL:

McFillen, guardian/bondsmen, dated filed 13 Feb 1867

RHEA, ISAAC & ALBERT - Guardian/Bondsmen, SAMUEL RHEA; ROBERT RHEA; &
CHARLES COFFIN, date filed 22 Nov 1864

INTESTATE (WITHOUT A WILL) 1863-1870 MORGAN CO IL:

RHEA, WILLIAM, #2526, 23 Jan 1863, ROBERT RHEA, Adm.

Hope some of this helps. If you want the Sangamon information, just ask.
