John Rhea was born in Augusta Co. Va. son of William Rhea and Elizabeth
Clark.The other sons of William and Elizabeth were Archibald he died in 1773
Augusta Co. Va. William, James, Alexander and Robert and a daughter Ann who
married John Lockridge she lived in Augusta Co. Va.
James, William ,Alexander setteled in Green and Adair Counties, Kentucky
Robert settled in Greenbrier Co.West Virginia.
John married his first wife Margaret Turk daughter of Thomas Turk Sr.(died in
1808 Augusta Co. Va. and Margaret Grove .
John and Margaret were the parents of nine children
