I Think I have the family you are looking for, altough I have the spelling as
Pierce, I have seen it as Pearce. I recently purchased a photograph of
Congressman John Rhea taken in 1916 from an 1812 miniature original painting
in the possession of "Miss Nannie Rhea (living with her sister, Mrs. R. R.
Pearce, 306 East Pine Street, Atlanta, Georgia") Joseph S. Rhea was a son of
Samuel Rhea, son of the Reverend Joseph Rhea, 1715-1777. I hope this helps.
I Also believe there are other children of Joseph S. Rhea, not well
documented. Write if I can send you more particulars.
