BISHOP, Ed, Barren, fought
SHiloh, Vicksburg, Stone River;
mortally wounded latter 2 Jan 1863; died
there 28 Jan 1863.
BROWN, J H, Bararen, fought Shiloh & Baton Rouge.
BUSH,
Willis P, Barren, Shiloh & Stone River.
BROOKS, Johnson J, Barren, fought
Jackson & Chickamauga;
was "generally too fat for service"; employed as a
teamster.
BROOKS, James J, Barren, appt Col 3 Nov 1862; fought Shiloh,
Vicks, Jackson, Chick, Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca & Utoy
Creeks; both days
at Jonesboro & in mounted engagements. Was
but only 16 yrs old when
enlisted, served like a man to the last.
BAINE, L C, Barren, 14 yrs old,
fought Vicksburg, sick when regi-
ment left Tangipahoa for Baton Route but
started on his way to
rejoin the company. Fell in with some Louisiana
troops, served
with them until Nov, came back to the 6th KY; disabled by
disease but fought at Rocky Face, Resaca, Dallas, from Dallas
to Atlanta
and Peachtree & Intrenchment Creeks.
COOPER, J H, Barren, fought Baton,
Stone, Jackson, Chick,
Rocky Face, Resaca, Dallas; wounded at latter,
permanenatly
disabled 28 May 1864.
COOPER, J O, Barren, killed at Shiloh
7 Apr 1862.
COX, W H, Barren, died of disease 7 Sept 1862.
DICKEY, W Frank,
Barren, 2nd Lt Oct 1863; fought Shiloh, Vicks,
Stone, Jackson, Rocky,
Resaca, Dallas, there to Atlanta,
Peach, Intrench, Utoy, Jonesboro &
mounted.
EARLES, John H, Adair, fought Shiloh, Vicks, Stone, Jackson,
Chick, severely wounded at latter, disabled for further duty in
the
ranks, later detailed as a teamster for a supply train.
EASTES, Otho, Adair,
discharged 10 Nov 1862 being under age.
ELLIS, D W, Barren, 5th Sgt 8 Jan
1862, fought Shiloh.
EASTES, Otho, Adair Co, discharged 10 Nov 1862 being
under
age.
GRISSOM, T C, Adair Co, died of disease in Atlanta 12 Mar
1862.
HINDMAN, Robert j, Barren; fought Baton, Jack, Chick, Rocky,
Resaca, Dallas, permanently disabled at latter by the loss of a
leg 28
May 1864.
HATCHER, Thomas H; Barren; Cpl 3 Nov 1862; fought Shiloh
where
wounded 7 Apr 1862; Stone, Jack, Chick, Rocky, Resaca,
Dallas and there to
Atlanta, Peachtree, Intrench, Utoy, Jones,
and in mounted.
HATCHER, Wm A,
Barren; 5th Sgt 3 Nov 1862; Shiloh, dangerously
wounded there 7 Apr 1862;
Stone River & Jackson. Died of disease
at La Grange, GA 17 Apr
1864.
HAMILTON, W H, Barren; transferred to Grave's Battery 27 Nov
1861.
HIGDON, J A, Barren, transferred to Co D, 10 Nov 1861.
KIGER, W W,
Monroe Co, Shiloh, Vicks, Baton. Died of disease at
Tullahoma, TN Mar
1863.
KIDD, W B, Barren, died of disease Bowling Green 12 Dec
1861.
KIRTLEY, P J, Edmonson Co; 3rd Sgt 2 Jan 1862; 2nd Lt 24 Oct
1862;
fought Shiloh, Vicks, Stone, Jack, Chico, Rocky, Res,
Dallas, Dallas to
Atlanta, Peach & Intrench. Severely wounded at
latter 22 July 1864,
disabled for rest of the war.
LEWIS, J Beverly, Barren, 1st Sgt 10 May 1862;
fought Shiloh,
Vicks, Stone (severely wounded 2 Jan 1863 in left hand &
right
leg, disabled for active service). Fell into hands of enemy, was
ex-
changed and served for remainder of war. Medal of honor awarded
for
gallant & meritorious conduct at Stone River. Drowned accidently
several
yrs after the war.
LEWIS, S H, Barren, fought SHiloh, Vicksburg & stone.
Killed at latter
Jan 2, 1863.
LONG, Robt G, Monroe, discharged because of
disability by disease
July 1862.
