I would be interested in knowing more about this John and David Rhea,
Philadelphia merchants. My fourth great-grandfather, John Rhea, would have
matched this time frame and geographic area. Also, my third
great-grandfather, also John Rhea, named one of his sons David Smith Rhea.
John Rhea I was married to Mary Smith, and according to John Rhea II, was
living around Philadelphia in 1805. John Rhea II was a merchant, so it is
possible his father was a merchant also. I suppose I am just picking at
straws, but I would like to find out more about John Rhea I. If anyone can
