John Lewis Selser and his wife Barbara sold their 528 acre Fairfax grant
land (part of the North Mountain survey on 4 August 1767 to several merchants
of Philadelphia for 100 pounts. The Philadelphia merchants were: John and
David RHEA, partners; John Baynton and Samuel Wharton, partners; Abraham
Michell. (Frederick County, Virgina Deed Book 11, p. 519)
This tract is accessible by Shenandoah County Highway 600 along the
northwest property line and County Highway 652 along the northwest property
line, adjacent to and southwest of Saumsville, Virginia. >>
This was sent to me by a fellow researcher. We were working on another name
when she said you have Rhea's. I have some info I will send you.
