Back in the country after spending a fews days in Bangkok. Thailand has
really been upset by the depreciation in their currency. Good time to visit
on the other hand. Inflation has not yet taken hold so you can stay in a 5
star hotel for $70 a night. In any case, I have been trying to catch up on
the mail...

There are a number of Rheas who ended up in Texas in the early 1800's but I
have not been able to find a Henry Rhea which fits the description Mike
() sends. I do have a bit of information on Joseph and Kitty
Myers Rhea and it seems unlikely Henry is their child. Kitty as 59 in 1847.
She had had a sucession of children from 1808 to 1834. For her to have had
another at that advanced age in 1847 seems odd.

With respect to the census, the 1850 census for Sullivan Co. where Joseph and
Kitty lived is intact, as are the next 3 following that. Henry would have
showed up in one of those.

All that being said, I would be interested to know who where the children of
Henry - are their any clues in the names that might help us place him.
