Some of these dates stick in my mind like 1758, isn't that when Robert and
Sarah Bingham left Va.

ck1.5.1 Sarah CLARK b. by 1730 md. Augusta Co. Va Feb. 1748 Archibald
ELLIOTT they went to Anton Co. NC by 1758. On 21 May 1755 Archibald ELLIOTT
purchased 213 acres on Little River in the Calfpastue and on 15 October 1755
he and
wife Sarah sold this 213 acres to Archibald ARMSTRONG. On 20 Feb. 1758
Archibald ELIOT of Anton Co. NC granted power of attorney to James Clark Sr.
and William ELIOT and on 21 Nov 1759 they conveyed 213 acres on Jackson River
to William JOHNSON.

ck1.5.2 William CLARK b. 1738 d. 1766 Augusta co. Va. (adm bond 20 May 1766
appr 19 Nov 1766...W.B. 3pg. 444 &478) md. Augusta Co. Aug 1760 Margaret
McCutchan d/o Lt. William McCUTCHAN. Margaret md. 2nd by 1769 John SMITH.
On 19 May 1761 William CLARK purchased 402 acres in Borden's Tract on Moffets
Creek. On 20 Sep 1763 William purchased 65 acres on Jacksons River and on 15
Oct 1765 William and margaret sold this 65 acres to William REAH.

ck1.5.3 Alexander CLARK b. c 1736 d 1794 Greenbrier Co. (W)Va (w.d. 12 June
1794 w.p. Oct 1794 W.B. 1 pg 87 appr Apr 1795 md. c1763 Sarah LAFFERTY b.
1743 Cowpasture (now Bath Co. Va.) d 1809 Monroe Co., WV (w.d. Dec 1809) d/o
Ralph and REbecca LAFFERTY. Alexander CLARK first appears on Greenbrier Co.
tax lists in 1782.
Ck1.5.4 Margaret CLARK b. 1740, bap 1 June 1746 at North Mountain Meeting
House, Augusta Co. Va. d. 1834 md. c1776 Samuel KINCAID II. They lived in
Greenbrier WV.

ck1.5.8 Elizabeth CLARK md prob c1750 William Reah/RHEA d. by 19 Jul 1804.
On 17 May 1750 William Reagh purchased from Benjamin Borden 230 acres on
Hays Creek and on 17 Oct 1769 he sold this 230 acres to Archibald Raigh. On
21 May 1764 William Reah purchased 257 acres on Back Creek and on 19 Nov.
1771 William and Elizabeth sold this 257 acres to Mathew MOREHEAD. On 15 Oct
1765 William REAH bought from William and Margaret CLARK 65 acres on Jacksons
River and on 1 May 1769 sold this 65 acres to William ROBINSON. On 22 May
1767 William REAH purchased 600 ac on Elk Creek of the Calfpasture and 15 Mar
1775 William Reagh Sr and Elizabeth sold to son John REAGH land on Mill Creek
a branch of Calfpasture. Bill filed 19 Jul 1804 John RHEA vs. William RHEA's
heirs.
