I would like to share the following document I just acquired:
Territory of the United States of America south of the river Ohio,
Knox County.
Know all men by these presents, That we Joseph Ritchey, Andrew McCasland &
Nathanial Evans are held and firmly bound unto William Blount, governor, or
his successors in office, in the penal sum of Six Hundred Pounds, void on
condition that there be no lawful objection why Joseph Ritchy (sic) & Nancy
Rhea may not be joined together as man and wife, in the holy estate of
matrimony. Witness our hands and seals this Sixth day of November 1792
