This is from an acquaintance on Va. Roots. She was hoping one of my lists was
a Va. county list. when I told her what my lists were, she gave this info to
me. If you would like to talk to her. Her e-mail is at the bottom of the
page. pat
Obediah RHEA was the son of Moses RHEA and his wife, Hannah Ritter RHEA, and
was born in 1790 in Virginia. he married Elizabeth Emma (Emaline?)
Littlepage, who was the daughter of Thomas Littlepage (V-24) and his wife,
Sarah Hurt Littlepage. She was born in 1799 in either Va. or Ky.
Thomas and Sarah had moved to Franklin County, Tennesse, from Hopkins County,
Kentucky, by 1812. Elizabeth married Obediah RHEA (Ray? Rea?) about 1816,
most likely in Warren County, to Pinson (Madison County), Tennessee, and on
to Arkansas where they were among the earliest settlers of Lawrence County.
Elizabeth and Obediah were in Green County, Arkansas, by 1836. Obediah died
ther in 1855 and she died in 1869.
I have the names of their children if anyone is interested, but not much
more. I have a fellow Littlepage researcher who probably could really fill in
anyone truly interested.
