It is pretty clear that there are many opinions as to the ancestry of Matthew
'the Rebel' Rhea - Campbell. Has anyone come across any evidence of his
connection with Walter, Neil, Charles or any other Campbell parent? When
reporting his military exploits with Archibald Marquis maybe Sir Walter Scott
meant he was a cousin to the Argyles on his mother's side...
