Hi Group,
This is a reply to Madge Ray's message of 10:33 PM 9/7/97.
William Rhea (1782-1855) married Elizabeth Boiler 2/24/1802 in Greenbrier
Co., VA. His exact birthdate was 10/30/1782.
William's parents were:
Robert Rhea b. 1759 in Augusta Co., VA, d. 10/31/1834 in Pocahontas Co.,
VA, and Martha Meek. Robert and Martha were married in 1781 and divorced
11/22/1796 after she ran away with a travelling salesman.
Robert's parents were: William Rhea b. c1715 in Ireland, d. 4/25/1802 in
Bath Co., VA and Elizabeth Clark, b. c1723, d. 11/23/1804 in Bath Co., VA.
William and Elizabeth were married c1744, presumably in Augusta Co., VA.
William's parents were: Archibald Reaugh (and other spellings), b. c1690 in
Ireland, d. 1768 presumably in Augusta Co., VA and Ann?
I have some further details about some of these people that I would happily
share with you. Please let me know what you would like.
