I found this on a mewsgroup. Hope it helps someone. Please reply to the

RAE; DFS,SCT; c 1790-1820

I am looking for descendents of John RAE, b.1751 in Castle Douglas KKD,
SCT m. Sarah CAIRD 1791. John was a farmer at Springkell DFS and he and
Sarah had 10 children - Robert b.1792, John b.1793, Jannet b.1794,
William b.1796, Adam b.1798, Mary b.1800, James b.1801, George b.1802,
Isabella b.1805 and Jean b.1808. All of the RAE sons and one daughter
apparently emigrated to USA and died there - dates and places unknown.

Any information concerning the RAE family would be most appreciated.
