Subject: Rhea - Turk Reunion

A reunion of the descendants of Robert Turk, emigrant from Ireland, who
settled in Virginia in 1736 is to be held Saturday October 4, 1997 at the
Post Oak Community Center, 17 miles northeast of Paris, Lamar county, TX off
Hwy, 32, on Farm road 1502. The reunion will begin about 10:00 am. A
covered dish lunch will be served at noon.
What began as a reunion of the descendants of Caleb L. Turk who lived in
Monroe, Meigs and McMinn counties, TN in the mid-1800s is now open to all
descendants of the immigrant ancestor of this line, Robert Turk.
All interested persons are asked to bring a small inexpensive gift to
auction in the afternoon to cover expenses of the reunion. If the reader
has Turk ancestry, but is not sure of his ancestry, or for more details,
