Hi,
I am new to the Rhea list, and thought I would post my only Rhea ancestor
that I know of, in hopes one of you may have some idea who she descends from.
We have searched for years to no avail, other than she may have possibly
been a daughter of the half brother of Rev. Joseph Rhea, or even a half
sister to him. But we have never been able to find any proof of this.
Margaret Rhea born abt.1722 Married abt. 1743 VA
married #1 Robert Looney Jr. (son of Robert & Elizabeth Looney) Jr. born 1721

Issue: John, Moses, Benjamin, Samuel, Mary.
Robert Jr. Looney was killed while scouting Reeds Creek, Feb 1856, Augusta
Co., VA.
She then married #2 abt 1757 to Stephen Rentfro/Renfro
They moved to TN, where she died in 1803, Knox Co.
Stephen died 1804 TN.
She had no children by Stephen, but her oldest son by Robt. Looney, John,
married one of Stephen Rentfro & 1st wife's daughters, Elizabeth.
I descend from John Looney & Elizabeth Rentfro/Renfro.

If anyone has a clue of a new direction for which our family can research,
let us hear from ya!
