Intro: to Ed Foley's pages of Descendants of Rev. Joseph Rhea of Ireland.

Rev. Joseph Rhea was the grandson of Matthew Campbell Rhea. His father being
Matthew also.

Matthew Campbell Rhea, rebel, was the son of Walter Campbell and Jean
Campbell. Jean was the daughter of Sir Niell Campbell, brother to the 9th
Earl of Argyll- Archibald.
Walter's lineage goes back to the Campbell's of Ardkinglas.

Walter was Laird of Skipness Castle, as were his ancestors before him.named
either Matthew or Walter.
