Hi! I am clicking a copy of this to Bob Walters as
he is our resident expert on Augusta Co VA family. From p 292 of a copy
of Bob's Augusta Lokrig book, "He (John ca1763-ca1799) married Anna M
Rhea, daughter of Wm Rhea and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Brownlee circa 1782 in
Augusta Co., VA. Died Dec 1837 in Augusta Co., VA. Prob. of Est. Dec
1837 in Augusta Co., VA..
At this point I would only be interested in Rhea-Lokrig data and
descendants. You may contact or hear from Bob Walters.
Off the top of my head, I think I have seen other Lokrig-Rhea data,
and I know I have seen Rhea family data at Lokrig locations. Have you
checked Ancestral File and I G I on the computers at your local LDS
branch library?
I think there are as many spellings of Rhea as there are of Lokrig.
That's why we use LOKRIG as we mean any spelling including the usual
three siblings who all spelled it differently. About all I can do -

Would be very interested in particulars of Anna. Did she write a will?
Where
is it recorded? Does she mention any of her brothers and sister. Does she
mention her grandfather Archibald RHEA. What ever you would be willing to
share I would be glad to have it. When they left Ky. did any of the
RHEA's
go with them.
I have alot of info on the RHEA's. Is there anything you would like to
know
about her family?
What is the true spelling of her husbands name? We do not have any info
on
her children other than their names from her husbands will. Any info you
would want to share on them would be appreciated.
