Thanks Dick, for your posting. I see that you do not totally believe as
Robert Perry Rhea does on the order of the children, nor of the dates.
I also received a letter from Diarmed Campbell some time ago that said that
the original spelling was Ruadh (meaning Red-haired) and the pronounciation
would be ROOah where the o's would be pronounced u.
I recently got the list of all the RAY's in the Longstreet Presbyterian
Cemetery in Cumberland County, NC. I thought it interesting that the Cemetery
is now on Fort Bragg Army Base, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, NC. I will
post the list to the discussion list soon ,, a little at a time.
Which Archibald ws it that was a founding elder of that church? and what was
the time period. There are no RHEA's in that listing , but alot of RAY, 1
Bulloch, many McDiarmid's. most of those from Islay (EYE'la) Many people from
JURA, Argyleshire.
Are there any team researchers, that have gone back as far as Dick, that
would have specific information on any members of this family.
