I would like to contact other researchers interested in Barton &
Polly ( ) RAY, md. ca 1808 in VA.
There is a Barton Ray in Botetourt Co. VA in 1810. They then moved
to KY (Montgomery Co. I believe, at least there is a Barton Ray there
in 1820). They then moved to IN (Jennings Co.? in 1840 there was a
Barton Ray there). Then on to Lee Co. IA where Barton died. In 1852
Polly and son William moved to Scotland Co. MO, then to Adair Co. MO.

In her obituary it says Polly and Barton had 4 children, the
only one I know for sure was William, but I believe that my own JOHN
RAY b. 1819 KY (md. Sarah (Sallie) Rogers, Jennings Co. IN 5 Jan.
1845) was another son, and I think another possibility is REASON RAY
b. 1817 KY. They all were in the same places at the same times,
often living next door to one another.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
