What a wonderful treasure you have. I'm sure you have had lots of
responses to your message.
I cannot prove lineage back to thei particular family. I am a RHEA
descendant VA-TN-AR. They intermarried with the CRAWFORD family down through
all states. What I would like is the information from this Bible. The
flypage information, date of publication and publisher and year, and the
family information. I would think that a Library would be the best spot for
the original Bible and I'm sure that someone on this RHEA-LIST will be able
to steer you in the right direction there.
Oh yes, I guess I would need to know where the Bible ended up - for
documentation purposes.
I wish I could say, "That is my ancestor." But I cannot. Of cource, the
names don't give a clue as John, Elizabeth, William & Robert are names in
every family of that period - including my Rhea family.
I am so glad someone found the Bible and saved it over the years. It
would have been so sad for it to have just been tossed out. For that I thank
you.
Regards, Kathryn
