Hi, may I join your family discussion and research list
My grandfather who was a compositor/musician,born in Islington London,s/o
William Thomas and Sarah Eliza (nee Gidley), married Mary Lavinia Mindenhall
at Paddington London 1891, moved to Glasgow. They had one son Paul,b,1897,
and then, as family lore has it, he left for America around 1903/4, as a
musician. Grandmother would not talk about this, so my father Paul, could
tell me nothing, other than to say that he understood that Charles Henry
died as a result of a tram accident in the States. All the Rea's were
printers, back to 1808, and all born in London. Will be pleased to pass on
any info
