My family tradition says..........

William Hardy/ Hardey b. abt 1750, from County Down, Ireland married
Margaret Ray daughter of Lord RAY of Scotland or County Down Ireland, they
had two sons William Hardy and my line, Joseph Hardy. William Sr died
about 1830 and Margaret died before that. They lived in Somerset County,
Pennsylvania
