Sunday Greetings from Jackson County, Alabama!
Have you had any luck in finding parents or place of birth of your Luke
Chandler? Years ago I photographed his grave marker and did a family tree
chart for a gift for a local friend who is desendant of Luke Chandler,
Gerry Chandler Parr of Scottsboro. She knew nothing about genealogy or how
to even begin research. After delving through Chandler records in the
court house, I developed a strong "attachment" to Luke and wife. I did not
attempt anything outside the county, as I was doing this for fun and as
bait to try to get Gerry interested in doing something on her own.
I, too, descend from Robert and Sarah Bingham Rhea through my Thomas and
Ann Rhea Turk line. I think Pat is doing a great work with her Rhea
website.
