Pat: I am not sure if i am related to theses guys or not . I have run accross
them and have thought I wasn't. My earliest ancestor is John Ray of Hawkins
county. He was married to Febra. I just found a deed that would indicate he
was in the area as early as 1783. I have worked on this line for over 20
years and have myriads of files but have not been able to crack this line any
further. I am able to research at Salt Lake at least once a month for a
couple of days at a time. This june I am going to Allen county library for
the second time for a few days where they have 35 books on Ray lines maybe
I'll turn something up. I teach genealogy and have over 10.000 name but
unfortunately not too many Rheas. If you know anybody or anything Imight be
overlooking could you let me know? If you are willing I'd love to pick your
brains either on line or if I could call you. Iwill understand if that doesnt
suit you as we all ahve day jobs........................Thanks so much for
