Subject: Roll of Honor: Civil War Union Soldiers
Date: Mon, 7 Apr 1997 21:27:15 -0400 (EDT)

According to Broderbund, "The Roll of Honor" is the only official memorial to
the Union dead. It is supposedly the most comprehensive source of info on
Civil War fatalities. GPC and Broderbund have available a CD#351 available
in the Family Tree Maker Genealogy program. The info references the names of
Union soldiers buried in over 300 national cemeteries etc. I do not have the
disk yet. A lot of my info has come from the individual states in the
USGenWeb Archives which list many cemeteries naming individuals, place buried
and any info on that person. It is time consuming but interesting to research
the various names and always exciting to find a hit. Connie Rhea Rowe
