HELP - HELP - HELP - HELP
I am trying to get some accurate info of my ancestors.
I have a lot of word-of-mouth info from uncles, aunts, and cousins but am
trying to verify some of it. Here are the RAY's I'm trying to get info on.
I have info on the parents and siblings but need info on these and their
children. I do have some suspects, see below.
William B. (Boy) RAY, b. 1773, Orange Co, NC, d. Aug 27, 1824, Shelby Co, Al.
m. Apr 10, 1799 - Elender ROACH, b. 1775, NC, d. in Attala Co, Ms.
They had a son named Rev. James RAY, b. 1815?, d.Jan 25, 1859, Attala Co, Ms.
m. Christian BRASHER, b.1803?
Here is where the suspects come in..........
suspect 1- He had a son named Elijah Marion RAY (no info) (could be a
brother?)
suspect 2- He had a son named George Washington RAY, Sr. | these could be

suspect 3 - He had a son named George Washington RAY, Jr. | stead of two
My g-grandfather was George Washington RAY, b. Feb 9, 1850, Winston Co, Ms
d.Dec 26, 1939, Webster Co, Ms.
m. Missouri Annis PAMPLIN, b,Nov 18, 1853, Ms, d. Jul 21, 1916, Ms.
(They are found on the same page in the 1870, Choctaw Co, Ms, census
record,seperated by the James GREENLEE family)
He had a son named John Calvin RAY (my grandfather) I have info on him.
He had a son named Jim Tom RAY (my father) I have info on him.
I would appreciate any information that anyone can pass on to me.
