I think from what I have read that Matthew Rhea and Elizabeth McClain were
the parents of Rev. Joseph Rhea. From the book Descendants of Rev. Joseph
Rhea of Ireland, it states that Joseph b. 1715 in Loughborne Parish, Donegal
Co., Ireland, m. 1752 in Ireland to Elizabeth McIlwaine b. 1732 near
Londonderry Ireland(daughter of John Mcilwaine and Margaret Scott. If you
want to know more on this family I strongly urge you to purchase the book
from Heritage Books, Inc. It is well worth it.
