Wonderful day in my part of the country. Prayers go out to those in the
flood areas.

Here is some info I gathered online. Unfortunately the gentleman who posted
it is no longer on AOL. Would have been nice to talk with him.

John Houston 1694-1750 Ireland>Virginia John married Margaret arrived in
Pa. Settled in Borden, Va.(Brownsburg, Va.) where they had seven children.
James, Robert (b. 1720), Isabella, Ester, John, Matthew.

John, Sr. founded the New Providence Presbyterian Church(still active) after
separating from the Old Providence church. both were within 5 miles of his
home. His son founded the plantation called Timber Ridge that was adjacent to
father John's property.

Robert had 8 children. James, John, Samuel, (unnamed girl), Anne, Ester,
Margaret and Mary.

I think this may be interesting to us, who had Rheas that attended New
Providence Presbyterian Church.

This info from Keith Houston on July 15, 1996

The story I had heard was that William, and Robert and Archibald, with their
father and mother may have left Lancaster, Pa. with the Providence
Presbyterian Church members and traveled to Virginia. This sort of puts a
damper on this.

Does anyone have any info yea or nay on this article?

Thanks to all who have e-mailed their family group sheets. Hope there are
lots of connections. No cutoff time, keep them coming. Welcome to all new
subscribers.
