In regards to Kenneth V. Rhea's family History,

Matthew Campbell Rhea had several children. These are three of his sons.
William b. 1687; Matthew b. 1688; Archibald b. 1690/92
Archibald had three sons and 1 daughter, we think. = William, Robert,
Archibald and Agnes. Children born in Ireland

Robert Rhea m. Sarah Bingham, and their children were: Elizabeth, Robert,
Ann, John, Isabella and Archibald.

Robert Rhea, Jr. m. Mary Stephens on January 25, 1787 and they moved to Knox
County, Tenn. about 1791, then to Blount County, Tennessee. They were living
in Monroe County when he filed for a pension, but were living in Blount Co.
again when he died on February 15, 1850. Mary died there on Feb. 9, 1857.

Robert had a son James, his son Jehu Stephens Rhea was born in Knox County,
Tenn. He died intestate in Ohio in 1841. His wife was Elizabeth Smith. Their
children were Hannah Rhea, October 18, 1811-April 13, 1863. m. David Dillman
on Aug. 9, 1833, Robert K. Rhea (Kirkman from his mother's side), February 3,
1818-November 18, 1901, married first Nancy Lewellen, on August 8, 1833,
second, Sarah E. Rhinehart, January 21, 1821-Dec. 4, 1922, on Sept. 3, 1840;
Mary Rhea 1816-1850 m. Robert Smith on Feb. 11, 1836; Nancy Rhea, 1818-? m.
Samuel Smith, August 23, 1838, Archibald Rhea, June, 1822-? m. Harriet Parks
on April 3, 1851; Smith Rhea, 1823-?, married Amanda Jane Shook, September 4,
1845, Elizabeth Rhea, 1825-aft. 1841, m. James Smith, December 1, 1844;
Alice/Alcey Rhea, 1826-after 1860, m. Obed. Rinehart, on September 5, 1841;
and Jane Rhea, 1828-?, m. Martin Swisher on March 21, 1852. Mary and Nancy
moved to Adams County, Indiana, aas did Elizabeth. Archibald and Smith Rhea
went to Grant County, and Robert K. to cass County, Indiana.

This info comes from a section written in the Bath Co. Bicentennial Book
1991, by Robert Perry Rhea of Bloomington, Mn. If you write Bath Co.
Historicial Society in Warm Springs, Va. I know they will copy it for you for
a nominal amount. There is documentation on this section by Mr. Rhea. This
section is 6 pages long. I have the documentation. It was too lengthy to
publish in the book. so he published it separately.
