Here are a few marriages that come from Mass. newspapers. 1700's
REA, Betsey m. Capt. Michael HOMER (no date or place)
REA, Betsey m. Capt. Zachariah RHODES " "
REA, Daniel, tertius(the third), Mr. D. R. tertius, to Miss Sally Bangs ( W.
April 22, 1789 ) I don't know what the W stands for. but may refer to town.
REA, Ruth m. William Lovett no date, place
REA, William At Murphy, merchant, formerly of Boston, to Miss Peggy Wynn, of
Salem, (S Feb 16, 1793) S must mean Salem.

Barren Co. KY order book #1 p. 49 Nov. Court 1801 "By consent of the Court,
Robert RHEA, is appointed Guardian to Hannah RHEA, Polley RHEA, MARTHA RHEA &
John RHEA, orphans of James RHEA, deceased whereupon he with Garrart VINZANT
his Security entered into bond in the penelty of L112 pounds & etc.
p. 54 of the same source Jan. 1802 "Ordered that Garrett VANZANT, John
SMITH, Abner HAMBLETON and Robt. RHEA do view the nearest and best way for a
road from the Courthouse to the Mouth of Prices Creek to join a road from
Wardly's to the County Line.
(James Rhea was my 4th great grandfather.) Robert Rhea was his brother.

Some RHEA burials in Barren Co.- do not think they are mine. Charles and
Jane RHEA, both b.1797 Adeline and James both b. in 1820's.

Also is anyone familiar with a William P. Rhea?, lived in Merritt Island,
Florida in June of 1981. names were Lyle Gordon Rhea, Roy Harold Rhea,
Harold Jehu Rhea, William Paul, Emma Margaret, Lois Claudia. He wrote to my
84 year old cousin back then, and cuz just gave me the info.
