This is the address of the Illinois State Archives Land Data Base. Federal
Lands, and School Lands and Military Tract.

Please remember that not all names are listed. Each county will tell you how
many are listed. You search by county. Go to the code for co. and then type
in the 3 no. code, and it will bring up the names,etc.

One I found is Charles Rhea- Pike Co.- Nov. 6, 1818 Military Tract. If this
one interests you then it also lists the acreage, purchaser's state address
at time of sale.how much he paid for the land, etc.

This Charles Rhea as far as I know is not one of mine. I also found in
Morgan Co. a James Rhea, that one is mine I think. I think you can send for
the certificate. correct me if I'm wrong.
