Barbara,
For awhile there I thought we might have a RAYBURN match. My group also
came from Monaghan County, Ireland. That was kind of a stopping off point
from Scotland. I'm related to some of the "names" you mentioned, but the
dates don't seem to match and my group settled in Ontario, Canada. I have
siblings Elizabeth, James (born @1781), Robert (born @1784), Thomas (born
@1786), William (born @1790), Isabella (born @1805), and Rachel (born @1807).
Most of this group settled in Caledon, Peel County, Ontario, Canada after
moving there in the mid 1820s. I don't respond to this list much because
most of the Rayburns posted seem to be located in the southern U.S. So
far, I haven't been able to tie them into the Canadian Rayburns. Hopefully
we have some sort of match.
