Hi all,
My name is Stacy and I am my Aunt Sue's niece in heart and blood. I
have been sitting back, and wondering when my Aunt Sue's strong heart would
come out and say something.
As a mother of 3 beautiful daughters, whose Cherokee blood truly is
evident, it was a shock to me that people in our world would not be proud to
admit that they carry the same blood.
I am very proud that my family are American Indian Descendants. Our
people faced challenges that I can only be thankful I have never had to face.
I am proud that they were strong in heart.
I can only say, that there are things far worse in our families history
that I could find to deny. That would cause me to deny them as my family.
