My grandmother told me she had some cousins who married into the RADLEY family (maiden names were either WOODHEAD or KAYE).
She says that Harold RADLEY owned a piano shop in Almondbury or Shelley area. Whilst they were on holiday in Africa their little boy was attacked by a crocodile which pulled him into the water by his leg. His mother pulled him away from it and saved his life. There was an article about this in the "Titbits" magazine in approximately 1970 when it happened.
If you know anything about this or where I can get a copy of the "Titbits" article please let me know.
