Hi Elisabeeth. Checked my list of Notaries and found that Richard (unknown
first name) was notary in 1751-1768 at Quebec, St-Valliere, Berthier,
L'Islet, Ste-Annd-de-la-Pocatiere and Berthier (?).

Hope this gives you somethiing to go on.
