I did receive a copy of that marriage. The parents of Eva Paradis are
different than the ones in BMS2000. In Madeleine Paradis obit d/o Louis &
Delphrose Cote in 1995 is mentioned a sister "Cecile" Cormier and BMS2000 as
her with the same parents as Madeleine, and figured Eva/Cecile mar. to
Lucien Cormier in 1926 was the same person.
Eva's father re-married in 1897 maybe she didn't get along with her new
step-mother and moved in with Madeleine's family:)

Madeleine R. Beliveau
Madeleine R. (Paradis) Beliveau, 72, of 414 Chestnut St., died Wednesday in
Mercy Hospital. She last worked as an inspector at the former Moore Drop
Forge Co. in Springfield, and retired in 1982. She was born in St. Sophie,
Quebec, Canada, she lived in Black Lake, Quebec, Canada, and moved to
Springfield in 1957. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Her
husband, Gracien Beliveau, died in 1987. She leaves three daughters, Diane
C. Adkins and Paula J. Labonte, both of Springfield, and Kathleen M.
Guillemette of Waterbury, Conn.; four sisters, "Cecile Cormier"ernande
Paradis and Francoise Cloutier, all of Plessisville, Quebec, and Marie-Paule
Cullen of Thetford Mines, Quebec; five grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday morning at St. Pierre
Springfield Funeral Chapels, and in the church, with burial in Calvary
Cemetery. Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.

as for the Aubin-Paradis marriage it was well after 1901 (1921/1928) and the
parish & town guide that I have only goes to 1901.There's been several
re-print to 1999 but they all cover the years to 1901 only. I have the one
publish in 1999 by Quintin publication.

Je retrouve un mariage le July-25-1928 (c'est bien indiqué 1928) en la
paroisse Ste-Alexandrie (Montréal) p.6 entre:
Thomas Aubin (fils de f. Thomas & Exalire Barthe)
Et Victoire Paradis (fille de Thomas & Marie Chamberland)...dite de
Mont-Joli.

I have deliberately removed all accents as most probably you would end up
with garble.
I have also printed the original Drouin wedding document with an added
title, it is one and half page long and easy to read.

I also checked the repertoire de mariages du comté de Mégantic- 1926-1970-
and your marriage is as per above.

Finally, about the Paradis-Aubin marriage, please make sure about the
parish.
The Parish and Town Guide-- 1976-- by Quintin publications has only two
St-Alexandre
comté d'Iberville est .1851( not far from Montréal) and
comté de Kamouraska est 1850.
There is no Ste-Alexandrie

Thank you for the quick response to my first request. Here's another on I
posted in 2006 and still looking for verification.

I have Victoire Paradis marriage Jul 25 1928 to Thomas
Aubin at Ste-Alexandrie (Montréal). "Paradis descendants by Linda Dube & The
rep. de Ste-Alexandrie+

Then I have Victoire Paradis d/o Thomas & Marie
Chamberland to Joseph Robichaud 26 Jun 1921 St-Gabriel,
Rimouski, Québec (Rep. Rimouski Co.) It says that Victoire was widow of
Thomas Aubin
when she married Joseph Robichaud 26 Jun 1921.

Can someone please check her marriage in 1928 that date must be wrong if she
was a widow of Thomas when she married in 1921
