Is there anyone on the list who is researching a James ELLIOTT in Quebec from 1800 to 1823..perhaps earlier than 1800! He may be in Leeds Co.Ontario..close to the Quebec Border.
He has a son born in Canada in 1823 and then moves to Albany,NY.
He continues to go back and forth across the border between Canada and NY for many years after the birth of Arthur.
He may appear on the 1831,41,51,and 61 Canadian Censuses.
