In his later years, he was the founding president of Association des
Familles Frigon/ the Association of Frigon Families and was the first editor
and publisher of the quarterly newsletter.


FRIGON, Raymond Augustin Peacefully at Carleton Place Hospital on Friday,
November 21, 2008. Beloved son of the late Dr. Augustin Frigon and Elsie
Owen. Dear husband of the late Madeline Colledge. Fondly remembered by his
son Paul (Pip Winters and her children Jamie, Andrea and Colin); daughter
Margo (Bob Lee); his sister Marguerite; his good friend Marjorie Koller and
nieces and nephews. He was born February 24, 1915 in Montreal and was an
engineering graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and M.I.T. Raymond was the
founding president of Cansult Ltd. and travelled extensively throughout the
Middle East, astutely securing engineering projects from the 1960s onwards
in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman and Saudi Arabia. In his later years, he was the
founding president of Association des Familles Frigon/the Association of
Frigon Families and was the first editor and publisher of the quarterly
newsletter. No service by request. Interment in Beechwood Cemetery in the
spring. Thanks to the staff at Rideau Gardens, Carleton Place Manor and
Carleton Place Hospital. Also special thanks to Anna who understood him so
