Just a reminder for those planning on attending the PATENAUDE/PATNODE/PATNAUDE (etc.) reunion on 3, 4 & 5 October 2008 (coming up soon!):

The cost is $75. per person which covers dinner, function space rental and entertainment. The dinner will be the evening of 4 October 2008 at the Best Western Kelly Inn in Plymouth, Minnesota. Checks should be made out to "PATNODE REUNION COMMITTEE" and mailed to Sherry Lange, 301 Fillmore St W, Preston MN 55965. Please enclose full contact info for the folks attending with your check.

Rooms have been blocked at the Best Western Kelly Inn Plymouth. To book a blocked room, please contact the hotel directly at (763) 553-1600 and request a "Patnode Reunion" blocked room. Room cost is US$89. + tax, which includes a deluxe continental breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located just west of Minneapolis and offers great facilities including a children's waterpark, indoor pool & whirpool. You can access info on the hotel at their website < http://www.bestwesternplymouth.com >. Feel free to choose your own accommodations elsewhere, but activities will be centered around the hotel.

Please think about spending a couple of extra days in the Minneapolis area and enjoying some of the local attractions. One of the outstanding genealogical attractions is the Minnesota History Center in downtown St Paul. The MHS website is < http://www.mnhs.org/historycenter >. There is convenient & reasonable paid parking at the center.

Please let others not on the mailing lists know about the reunion. This is truly a rare opportunity to get acquainted with relatives throughout North America and to make new friends.
