Subject: [QUEBEC] Pierre Bonami dit Lesperance death
Date: Sat, 7 Jun 2008 08:20:59 -0700
I've wondered for a few years when Pierre Bonami dit Lesperance died. I'm referring to the Pierre who was born 1765 at Chambly, QC and who married Marguerite (Au)Coin. He was the son of Raymond and M M Thibeaudeau.
In 1819 there is this burial:
Burial of Pierre Bonami dit Lesperance. St. Hyancinthe parish Notre Dame du Rosaire church
The 30th of December .... Pierre Bonami
dit Lesperance day laborer of here died yesterday aged around fifty two
years (=1767) husband of Marguerite (Marguerite was crossed out) and replaced with Marie Bere. Has been present Joseph Sans Soucy and Louis Tetro who were unable to sign.
This is about the right age and he was living in St. Hyacinthe a few years before this but I have no record of him being married to a Marie Bere. His first wife was Marguerite Aucoin, his second Marie Chapdelaine. Does anyone know if he had a third wife Marie Bere? Or does someone think this Pierre's death is another person?
John
