Subject: Searching for marriage of Emelie Legros(Legris, Legras) to Francois
Laframboise c1840

Is anyone is able to find the marriage of:
Francois Laframboise to Emelie Legros c1840.

Francois was from the Maniwaki area and Emelie Legros is described at the
marriage of her son Gilbert in 1882 in Maniwaki as being from Grand Brule,
Diocese de Montreal. The Diocese of Montreal part has to be a mistake.
However, there was a Mission of Grand Brule in St-Jovite (in the diocese of
Labelle). There was also a little town near St-Eustache called Grand Brule.
Therefore, the marriage could have been in Maniwaki, but more likely around
St-Jovite or somewhere in Deux Montagnes.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks,
Joan
