Hi Eileen
Thank you for caring enough to look for information on my Boudreau line and
yes I do have this information. I have the actual marriage record of Alphonse
Boudreau and Cecilia Allen (aka: Allain, Alain) and I have Alphonse and
Cecilia's children's baptismal records that wonderful people on the St. Anne List
have found for me; besides censuses and a school census of their children.

Cecilia is the daughter of Michael Allain and sister to Antoine and Ambrose;
who owned the land that the present day St. Anne, Illinois stands on. I have
been in contact with descendants of both Antoine and Ambrose. My new cousin
Kathye descends from Antoine and I have met her and we keep in touch with each
other weekly. She has researched this line and has written a book on the
Allains, which is now in a few libraries.

It is really only the Boudreau brothers that I can't find their birth place,
nor their parents. Well, that is not quite true, I can't find any info for 4x
great grandfather Pierre Giguerre (which can be spelt various ways). He was
born on May 11, 1810, somewhere in Canada....Montreal - Quebec?
He married Marie Provencher (b. 1837, Montreal), in Will County, Illinois,
1851 and their children were also born in St. Anne, Illinois. Pierre's daughter
Mathilda married Alphonse Boudreau's son Charles Celectin.

Marie Provencher was the daughter of Louis Provencher and Appoline Provencher
dit Beland, (they were cousins. Appoline (Pauline Allen) was the second wife
of Antoine Allain (Allen).....My ancestors were close knit group. <lol>

Getting back to Alphonse and Celestin Boudreau, I think if I could find out
what the other names they went by, that would be the key to finding out where
they were born. Also, if there are some male Boudreaus listed somewhere with
the birth years of 1825 and 1827, that might also may lead somewhere.

I have posted Boudreau queries and so at this time, they be my only hope. A
Boudreau cousin will have to find me.

Thanks,
Mary Boudreau
