Hi all,

I have been "listening" on this list for about a month, trying to figure out
the context. Most of the research seems to be French families, so I am
hesitant to say anything-but am I on the wrong list? I am researching my
ggg-grandparents, whose marriage is listed at Sherbrooke Cathedral:

John Noble s/o John and Ann Mountain, Durham
m. 4/12/1852
Alice Burns d/o Bernard and Ellen Malone, Ireland

John and Alice had moved to the US by 1861, but I find their relatives in
Durham, Holland, and neighboring counties of Quebec.

Thanks for any suggestions-perhaps there are more Irish researchers out
there?
