In response to your request:
You give a very precise date for John-Baptiste's birth.
I went through the following repertoires:
Trois-Rivières -- baptisms 1800-1850 Cathedral- (the only parish at the time)
Ste-Madeleine de Cap de-la-Madeleine -- just recently published baptism
repertoire -same period
Protestant- b.m.s same period
No sign of any Paquin birth - in those years - 1834-1840 -
The repertoires are by alphabetical order, not date, but I went through all the
pages and pages of baptisms- under Paquin,, Porter, Pothier
Any other info you may get??
