Hello,

I'm new to this list and trying to find some Beaton ancestors who came from Inverness in about 1850 and settled in Argenteuil, PQ, - at Lost River in Harrington Township to be more exact.

Can anyone please tell me exactly where these places are in the context of today's names and where I might go for birth/death/marriage records.
