Hi Lisa,

How neat that you wrote in today.

I have been looking for parents of this couple over the last few days.

Damase LAVALLEE witnesses instead of parents: Joseph Drouin and François
Montmarquet
Marie GABRIAU witnesses: Joseph Drouin & Jean-Baptiste Picard.

Married at the town of St-Hyacinthe Mar 30, 1855 this from Blue Drouin.

In a later entry for the marriage of a son also named Damase the mother is
now called Azilda GABOURIAULT, also Drouin.

If you or anyone else knows this couple I would be grateful. Here is one
instance where I think the answer can only come from family knowledge
rather than the reference works.
